75% Cabernet Sauvignon - 25% Merlot.
The name of Ceppate comes from "ceppo” (the vine) and the wine is the result of the "fusion” of the grapes of two territories, each with its strong personality, that of the Senese Chianti Classico, and the other of the area around Massa Marittima, in the Grosseto Maremma region.
These two regions generate the grapes from which this stupendous wine is derived. On the one hand the Chianti Classico region, of great importance in the history of world wine; and on the other, the most prestigious wine region of Maremma, which is increasingly attracting interest. The wine has extraordinary characteristics, in concentration, richness of components and varietal identity, thanks to the ideal microclimates.
The dark and impenetrable ruby color reveals the fullness of its body. The bouquet shows distinct currant and blackberry flavors, harmoniously mixed with notes of noble wood, licorice, cocoa and aromatic tobacco. The palate is silky and well sustained by the fleshiness of the ripe and soft tannins. The long and harmonious finish distinguishes this wine as an accompaniment to the most refined dishes.
