Martin Codax, the man who inspired our albarino’s name, was one of most important galician men of Middle Ages. Vindel parchment has its medial poems, the oldest of Galician-portuguese old language, which sing the prises of love and passion for sea. Martin Codax is a straight albarino and it is produced following a rigorous and meticulous process in order to guarantee its varietal pureness and the traditional essence of the Salnes Valley original wines.

Tasting notes

APPEARANCE Vivid straw-yellow green colour with a touch of ripe lemon. Bright and slightly sparkling. SMELL Intense and elegant aroma with hints of fresh herbs, green apples, citric fruits and grapefruit. PALATE It is persistent, rounded and full-bodied, with a light petillance that gives the wine an impressive and vivacious sense of freshness.
